Trying Xingu Black Beer from Brazil. I saw this thing on the shelf and had to try it just out of curiosity.
It's definitely dark in color, but it tastes (to me, anyway) very fruity with hints of something similar-to-but-not-necessarily-apple? Maybe raisins? The taste is certainly not what you would expect from something this color. I like it, but not enthusiastically so. It wouldn't be a bad "sitting around a fire pit on a 50* evening" beer.
